Good Charlotte

🇺🇸 United States

Good Charlotte is an American rock band from Waldorf, Maryland, USA. Formed in 1996 by twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden, the band rose to fame in the early 2000s with their unique blend of pop punk, emo, and alternative rock.

Their breakthrough album, The Young and the Hopeless (2002), included hit singles like “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous,” “The Anthem,” and “Girls & Boys,” helping define a generation of punk-influenced pop rock. Known for their energetic live shows and relatable lyrics about youth, alienation, and identity, Good Charlotte built a loyal global fan base.

Over the years, the band has evolved musically while staying true to their roots. After a brief hiatus, they returned in 2016 with Youth Authority and later released Generation Rx in 2018, which explored darker and more personal themes.
